CLTA

Kelsall School are the lead school for CLTA (Cheshire Leadership & Teaching Alliance) - the first Teaching School in Cheshire West and Chester.

The vision for Teaching Schools is built upon the view that the development of the next generation of teachers, school leaders and school improvement partnerships are more reliably placed in school settings than in areas more remote from the context and setting of this work.
The CLTA was successfully designated as a Teaching School in February 2013.

Our belief is that we should attempt to emulate the best practice of teaching hospitals where we blend high quality sector delivery with high quality training and development to create a genuine learning community for adults and students.

We are working to develop a cluster of liked minded colleagues and schools to support all areas of our work and deliver the BIG 6. It is only by working together, on schools, for schools that we can imporve outcomes for all children.
