RECEPTION 2027
We are delighted to be offering a series of school tours for families considering Kelsall Primary & Nursery School for their child’s Reception place in September 2027.
Choosing the right school for your child is such an important decision, and we would love to welcome you into Kelsall so you can get a real feel for our school, our children and our community.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to meet members of our team, explore our learning environment and find out more about the experiences we offer our children — from strong teaching and exciting learning expeditions to our caring, inclusive Crew culture. Most importantly, you will be able to see what makes Kelsall such a happy and special place to learn and grow. We look forward to welcoming you, showing you around and answering any questions you may have.

RECEPTION 2026
We currently have two places available in our Reception class for the 2026–27 school year.
If you are looking for a Reception place for your child, please get in touch — we would be delighted to welcome you for a visit and show you what makes Kelsall such a special place.
Applications should be made through Cheshire West and Chester Council’s In-Year Admissions process.
IN-YEAR ADMISSIONS
Applications for Reception after the start of the school year, and for Years 1–6, are classed as in-year admissions.
Applications should be made directly through Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Admissions Team. Places are allocated in accordance with the criteria set out in our Admissions Policy.
CURRENT PLACES AVAILABLE
We currently have places available in the following classes; Reception, Year 3, Year 4 and Year 6. We also have spaces in our nursery classes.
