Carrot Cookies

Class: Year 4 - Elm Year: 2014 - 2015

Looking at rationing during WW2, Elm class have been practising their weighing and measuring skills to make authentic WW2 carrot cookies. Following instructions and weighing the ingredients, the children made the mixture and then spooned it out onto the trays. After a tense 15 minutes watching the oven, the cookies were baked to perfection.

 And the verdict…? DELICIOUS!!
