Soundproofing Experiment

Class: Mrs Little Year: 2013-2014

In Science, Cedar class have been investigating the best material for sound proofing.

Having designed their own investigation, the children then went on to test various materials using them to stuff plastic cups which were used to cover their ears! Listing to the very best of One Direction, the children recorded the effectiveness of the materials using a scale from 1 to 10 – 1 being the most effective.

It was agreed that the most effective material for sound proofing was the cotton wool.
