Year 1 - Beech 2017 - 2018

Welcome to Beech Class!

Class Teacher: Mrs Smith and Mr Devine

Teaching Assistants: Mrs Whiteside, Mrs Crawford, and Miss Noble

Associate Teacher:  Mrs Leech

Welcome to spring term in Beech class laugh.

This term we welcome Mr Devine and Mrs Leech to the team.

'Survivors' is the over-arching theme at Kelsall School this year and Michael Morpurgo is the chosen author, so we begin our spring term with The Rainbow Bear which tells of the important role camouflage plays in protecting animals, and gently provides stimulus to discuss some of the threats facing wild animals today. We will then bring our attention to animals closer to home and learn about the important work of The Wildlife Trusts.  In the second half term we will join Mill View and Boughton Heath in a collaborative literacy project entitled Twisted Tales. You can find an overview of planning for the term in 'Files to Download'.

As we strive to be the best learners we can be, please do pop in with any information or resources you may feel are relevant to our topic that you would like to share. Help us in our quest to provide a Love For Learning!

Remember, you can Tweet your homework and any home learning on twitter @KelsallSchool
